Walk into the doors of First Church and you will find a warm and friendly body of Christians who are anxious to get to know you and to share the love of Jesus Christ with you. We invite you to worship our God -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- with us each Sunday and to join in the life of the church as expressed through its many activities.

 

 

UPCOMING EVENTS

Food Drive
The children's summer school group has organized a food drive for the next two Sundays to benefit the HIHS food bank.  Please consider donating non-perishable food items to this worthwhile cause.
  Your donations will be much appreciated.

All men are welcome for a time of food and fellowship.
Just bring your appetite!!

AWANA
AWANA will resume after the summer break.  Meetings are held every Tuesday from 6:00-7:30.
Children from age 3 through 6th grade are welcome.  Membership in the Church is not required for attendance.  During meeting time, members memorize Bible verses, have game time, crafts, stories and a time of fellowship.

BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
Monday Morning Men's Bible Study
Meeting is held at Frank Mund's home from 9:30AM to10:30AM
All men are welcome to attend. Please contact the Church for directions

Wednesday Evening Bible Study 
Study will be on I and II Kings and II Chronicles
Study begins at 6:30 in Fellowship Hall.

Women's Bible Study
Held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday's of the month in Fellowship Hall
Study is based on the Ten Commandments
Begins with a light breakfast from 9:30 to 10:00 with study until 11:00

Men's Bible Study
Held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday's of the month in Fellowship Hall
Study is from 7:30AM-9:00AM

ONGOING EVENTS
The Red Barn and the Clothing Barn are both open for the season. 
Saturday's from 9:00-4:00 at the Red Barn and Saturday's from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Clothing Barn.

Volunteer Opportunities---Your Talents Are Always Welcome!
Your help is needed on Saturdays at the Red Barn and the Clothing Barn.
Volunteers are always welcome to assist in the children's Sunday School program.
Openings are still available throughout the summer to provide coffee and refreshments after Church.
Openings are also available on several committees. Please see a Deacon for more information.
